When We Are Closed

Out-of-hours calls are commissioned by the area team and are provided by Northern Doctors Urgent Care. Should you need to be seen out of surgery hours please telephone  111 the NHS 24-hour nurse led helpline which is a triage service who will direct you on the right pathway—do not attend A&E unless it is an acute emergency.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
